The Coastal Alliance Co-operative Trust (CACoT) is a group of 14 schools who work together as an effective collaboration. They are both diverse and collegiate, and work together to raise standards for the children across the entire area. CACoT includes 14 Infant, Junior and Primary schools along the coast of East Kent in the Whitstable and Herne Bay areas. It also includes a number of partners such as Herne Bay High School, Canterbury Christ Church University, CSNet, EKLA, Children’s Centres and a local nursery collaborative.

As a forward thinking and progressive partnership, the schools are actively developing cross phase working, sharing professional development for staff at all levels, delivering school to school reviews which enable professional development for Headteachers and other leaders, as well as leading a wide range of activities and events for pupils across the schools.

All the members of the Trust are committed to improving outcomes for all pupils. They are committed to working together to share best practice and develop a consistent approach to many aspects of learning. This will support pupils as they move between schools in each stage of their education.

The Coastal Tube project is just one of the many ways the Alliance work together and the idea of this site is for you as parents, carers and pupils to be able to use educational videos, created by pupils across the Alliance schools, to support your mathematical learning at home and in school.
